The Training and Upgrading Office is committed to:

• Develop of National TVET system through the provision of appropriate staff training including induction, in-service, and career planning to support the program of training recommended by the DTVET MoLVT.
• In respect of staff involved in the administration and delivery of technical training it is recommended that:
  • Those responsible develop a nationally recognized staff development system that will provide for the individual teacher to grow and be challenged when participating in the TVET sector.
  • Career paths individual development plans and qualifications are developed for all levels of professional staff to provide progression throughout the working life of those involved.
  • A faculty is established to provide staff development for teachers both new and existing to ensure that their academic and technical development is structured to meet the challenges ahead in the area of TVET.
